The Z80 Note computer

What is the Z80 Note?

It's a computer using the Z80 microprocessor that was designed to act as a trade show name tag.

What makes it interesting?

There is an Arduino ATMega32u4 microcontroller that creates a user interface on an integrated OLED display. It also provides a serial port over USB, Z80 clock control, and access to files stored on a MicroSD card.

Notice that the integrated circuits on the side with the Z80 are part of the Z80 computer. The integrated circuits on the back side are part of the Arduino computer. The static RAM is shared between both.

Who designed it?

Ben Heckendorn. See his website at www.benheck.com.
